Day 32 of COVID -19 Isolation (Out and Back to Lake Burton)
Out and Back to Lake Burton
A few days without pictures. Weather kind of sucked, so I took some solo MTN Bike rides into the woods. This ride is with a “new” good friend of ours that we me in North Georgia (Julie) told us about this ride. It was beautiful. Dogwoods were blooming on lake Sead and Rabun. The climb to the top of Oakey Mountain was “fun” awesome, give it a shot when you have a chance. Speaking of climbs, Julie said let’s go make the turn to Tiger, great place to get water. What she didn’t tell us was, you will need water for the 9 miles to Tiger…. the first 5 miles are almost all up hill! You don’t go to Tiger to get water, but you will need water when you get to Tiger! Picture is in Tiger.
