Goal of today’s ride: “Easy spin on Mountain Bike before hard ride tomorrow”
Today’s Ride: Hard Mountain bike ride on forest roads that had new gravel :(
I decided to take the Martin Branch road instead of the Chattahoochee River Road. This was a mistake. About 5 months ago they had put down a small section of new gravel that made the start of the ride hard, but sometime between the last rides on Martin Branch they have dumped a ton of new BIG gravel rocks. i had to walk at least 3 different times!
The highlight of the ride was the field of Sunflowers blooming. This is a feed lot for hunters and it was stunning. Pictures don’t do it service. 2nd best part was the decent on Hwy from Unicoi Gap :)
